Abysmal Coalescence is the second release from A Thing Woven, the duo made up of Ben Mason of Whose Body Is This and Dean Lloyd Robinson of Knifedoutofexistence. The first release put microphone feedback against digitally created electronic textures, and this release continues to explore digital feedback colliding with acoustic feedback but instead using guitars as source. These recordings were made from rehearsal sessions, with a different member editing each side into a ten minute piece.
